Angela Wright

Nature Play Spaces Consultant

Angela is a volunteer with Nature Play QLD.  She offers a wealth of knowledge and support in coordinating our Nature Play Spaces program, alongside the team. Angela also refers projects to a group of talented landscape architects with experience in design and constructing play spaces.

Angela is keen to share, with the Nature Play Community, her 28 years local government experience delivering planning services in recreation, sport and open space planning; outdoor recreation planning and park master planning.

Angela’s education and background is in community recreation and human services. Through this study, Angela firmly believes that cities and towns should be made up of safe, walkable and playable neighbourhoods and that children should have increased access to nature for play, exploration, learning and discovery.

Angela is on the QORF Management Committee and the Parks and Leisure Australia Qld Regional Council.
