Saving Childhood

The key building blocks to protecting childhood

Keynote Synopsis

Children are shaped by the choices made by adults, experiences they have and the world as they see it through their eyes. Parenting author and educator Maggie Dent’s common-sense, practical model of 10 building blocks will reassure parents and those who work with children that what they have always known to be important in the early years of a child’s life is still important! In this presentation, Maggie will take participants through her key building blocks with a special focus on how to reduce the unhealthy influences of our modern consumer-driven world like sexualisation, marketing, media & technology. This is a call to save childhood from being stolen by our modern world.
