RAIMANA DELANEY

My name is Raimana Delaney. I am 10 years old and I am going to tell you a little bit about myself.

I am a year 5 student at Woodridge North State School and my favourite subject is maths. My interests are sports, fishing and aeroplanes. It is my dream to become a commercial airline pilot one day.

The topic I want to speak about is ambulance ramping.

I want to speak at the Childhood Summit because I have developed some pretty strong feelings about this issue and would like to share them at this event. My feelings are heightened because of a personal experience I had while waiting a long time in a hospital when I had a minor injury, and I can only imagine how challenging it would be for a patient with a serious injury in need of urgent care.
