PATRICK OBEDI

My name is Patrick Obedi and I am 10 yrs old , Iam a Congolese born in Uganda and came to
Australia as a Refugee . I have four younger brothers. I am a student at Woodridge North Primary
School grade 5 and my favourite subjects are Science and Art. I like playing soccer and
Basketball. When I grow up I want to be a Real Estate Agent.

My topic is insecurity in Woodridge area, and we need more police to help in protecting us around
our community because it is unsafe for us students to walk to school. There is always robberies
everyday around Woodridge community, adults and teenagers fighting, and one time I was in
Woodridge shopping centre and I saw a woman being robbed.

I am participating in the summit to help bring awareness and also educate other students about the importance of police in our community.
