KEY TOPICS
The child’s voice will be front and centre at the Childhood Summit.
Hear from the major stakeholder in this important conversation ‘Children’. Daily, children will inform us about what it means to be a child in the modern world.
BE WEARTHY, GET LOOSE - LOOSE PARTS POP UP PLAYGROUND
A super-fun installation at the Childhood Summit of play structures, natural objects, odds and ends and bits and pieces. A treasure trove of irresistible ‘stuff’ provoking creative, imaginative, social and collaborative play.

The Loose Parts Pop-Up Playground will be centerpiece of the Childhood Summit and constantly being used by children.
This installation will showcase the importance of play for children, and well as demonstrate the simplicity and power of outdoor free play in action. This play area will also act as the back-drop for action-based workshops and walk-shops for delegates.

The Loose Parts Playground is an incredibly generous collaboration between Wearthy, Camp Hill OSHC and Nature Play QLD and will smother the Childhood Summit in the JOY emanating from this area.

This will be a robust dialogue, between the facilitators and the audience, centred on emergent issues facing modern children. This feature of the summit focuses on the tough conversations surrounding childhood.
The facilitators will endeavour to tackle the issues too-hot-to-handle and mostly avoided. While research will inform parts of this session, our stories, heart-felt experiences, honesty and bravery to speak-up will make this session powerful and thought provoking and potentially paradigm shifting.
